Food is just food.
But if you’re going to stick with a weight loss plan, it’s got to be healthy, sustainable and, most importantly, taste good.
That’s what Cathie David believes, and why she found Diet-to-Go to be just the thing to fit into her busy lifestyle.
Cathie, a cook, found herself ballooning to an unhealthy weight of 228 as a result of long hours (we’re talking 10 to 12 hours a day) and lots of snacking in between meals.
“I don’t mind the working, but the hardest thing is finding time to eat healthy,” Cathie said.
Cathie, who lives in Eldora in Colorado, said she remembers sitting at a local pizza restaurant with her husband when he looked up suddenly.
“You know, we need to do something about this. We don’t need all this food,” he said.
“It felt really uncomfortable sitting in those chairs,” Cathie said. “We knew it was time to make a change.”
Cathie tried other weight loss programs, but she found it difficult to stick with them because they focused on body shaping and their guidelines involved things like eating six meals a day — something Cathie said was tough.*
“I had to find time to eat small meals, and that made it difficult,” she said.
Cathie said she wanted something fast, convenient, something she could just heat up without having to cook when she got home each day.
That’s why in April she turned to Diet-to-Go’s Keto-Carb30 plan. The Carb30 plan gives people just 30 net carbs per day and works by replacing carbs with fat for rapid weight loss.*
Most importantly, Cathie said it tastes like real food.
“It feels balanced to me, what I’m eating,” Cathie said. “I don’t feel like I’m eating a bunch of packaged food.”
Cathie is down 31.2 pounds, more than halfway to her goal weight of 167.*
Having a slimmed down body has also made it easier for Cathie to enjoy one of her favorite pastimes: hiking. (Eldora, her hometown, is in the Rocky Mountains and surrounded by several popular trails.)
“I like hiking because it’s the sort of activity where I’m not just standing on a treadmill; I’m outside,” Cathie said. “And it looks beautiful…it’s stunning. The more I do it, suddenly I’ve walked 8 miles and realize, ‘Oh I feel fine.’”
Cathie said she thinks people think too hard about food, and that Diet-to-Go takes the thinking out of it.
