Three weeks ago I set out on a mission to drop 15 pounds by today. At that time I weighed 237.2 pounds -- way too much for a guy my height.
This morning I stepped on my handy dandy Weight Watchers scale and let out a yelp of joy as the numbers came up 221.8.
I am down 15.4 pounds and I owe it all to Diet-to-Go. I am heading off to Florida tomorrow with a smile on my face and a little extra breathing room around the waistband of my shorts and jeans.
I feel way more energetic and the thought of lumbering around DisneyWorld and Universal Studios is much more palatable than it was 21 days ago.
Twenty-one days... that's all it took for me to drop 15 pounds. The best part: I did it without feeling deprived because I did it with the deliciously satisfying Diet-to-Go 1,600-calorie Low-Fat Meal Plan.
Okay, so I know most weight loss experts would want me to be losing no more than 2 pounds a week. That is indeed the healthiest way to lose weight and keep it off.
However, I am a fast starter in the weight loss department. If I stayed on the meal plan for a longer period of time my average weight loss would drop to within the healthy range.
But, I only wanted a three-week plan right now because of my looming vacation. I will return to a structured weight loss plan come January.
So if you need to drop a few pounds fast -- maybe for a holiday party or class reunion -- give Diet-to-Go a go!
It worked for me and it can work for you, too.
Just think, no meal planning... no food shopping... no cooking... and no major clean-up of pots and pans. Each week you'll get just about everything you need to eat great and lose weight.
I chose Balance this time, but Diet-to-Go also offers a Carb30 and Vegetarian option. And each meal plan has five full weeks of menus!
--Meat-free Mirkin Burger on a Kaiser roll
--Blue Crab Ravioli Soup
--Herb-Crusted Whitefish with creamy polenta
--Porcini Mushroom Chicken with wild rice pilaf
--Mexican-Style Burrito with Spanish rice and refried beans
Mmm, mmm... GOOD!
Here's hoping everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday.
